BESTTuna visit to Lombok site_1BESTTuna Program from Wageningen University of the Netherlands visited Fishing and Living site in Lombok to learn about initiative and also advise the Fishing and Living team regarding the update fisheries approach.  The BESTTuna team members are Dr. Simon Bush and Dr. Megan Bailey.

The Fishing and Living team visited district Fisheries Services (DKP) of East Lombok.  The team met with Mr. Harfi Muhammad, the District Head of Capture Fisheries Department in his office.  The team had a good conversation about fisheries in East Lombok.  The visit was important for Fishing and Living Program to receive current information regarding the fisheries management in East Lombok and build relationships with the local stakeholders.
